NOTE: We will meet at the Center for People with Disabilities (CPWD-the CIL in Boulder) for breakfast and a presentation at 9 AM. SILC members will be able to meet with consumers who are there for an IL Training program before going back to the hotel to begin our meeting. The address is

SILC members can either go there directly or take the accessible van that CPWD will have at the hotel to pick up members at 8:30 AM. The CPWD van will return members to the hotel after we are finished at the Center. Please do not miss this opportunity to see another center’s work.

- Membership Committee presents slate of nominations for officers and discusses targeted membership recruitment.
- Executive Committee presents plan for writing job description for SILC Coordinator

1:15 Public Comment period (Sign Language Interpreter will be available)

- Vote to approve State Plan and forward to DVR Director

- Vote on officers for 2007
- Transition activities discussed (calendar for next year)
- Vote on process for writing job description for SILC Coordinator
2:45 Patricia will review roles of SILC and CILs as a final part of the orientation training for members

This meeting is held in an accessible location and open to the public. There is time on the agenda for public comment. Members of the public are invited to come and comment on any item, whether it is on the agenda or not, for three to five minutes. Sign Language interpreters will be available for the Public Comment segment.
